Delicious! Food was great size for the cost. Service was great and server was very friendly. Only downside is no soda machine or water cups, only bottled drinks except for horchata, jamaica, and two other juices.

Found Gilberto's on tiktok and immediately had to try, these were some of the best birria tacos I've had! It's a bit small inside but the service was good and fast! We took a bit to order because the menu is huge, while we looked it over the cashier was nice enough to clean a table off for us. We ordered birria ramen, birria tacos, a carne asada torta, horchata, big red and manzanita to drink. The birria was sooo flavorful and really some of the best I've tried. Although, we didn't really care for the ramen. It was too think and hearty, and really was just ramen noodles in the consome. Personally, I think it'd be better if it had a birria broth, like actual ramen. Also, the carne asada torta could've been better, the meat was so chopped it all fell out. It could also use some more toppings like maybe beans or avocado, it was good but kind of bland. Overall, everything was good! I'd definitely come back and try some other menu items.

Born and raised in San Diego and this is the closest burrito I've had since. Just the whole ambience reminded me of a true taco shop. Salsa bar and Carne Asada was awesome. Breakfast burritos were on point.

Gilberto's is probably the best taco shop around. Their food is so authentic and not tex mex style. What prompt me to write the review tonight was the customer service. I called 12 minutes before they close and she took my order! Didn't give an attitude just was happy to take my order. How sweet. Their customer service is usually really good. I'm really happy with how my food turned out tonight!

Nice Mom and Pop family style restaurant, not much parking (the gentleman next door at the auto shop let my daughter part behind his truck. This was our first time here and the young ladies who took our orders were polite and very patient with us as we explored the menu. The portions are large and us girls were happy with our plates, only one take out plate was needed and that was for that huge burrito. My son had the quesobirra tacos, two out of his three taco had a big piece of fat which left nothing in the taco. So he really only had one taco. Three out of four dishes were a success.

Gilbertos Taco Shop is located in Arlington, TX, on Abram, and is just a short few blocks from Globe life serving up great fast Mexican food including breakfast burritos that are served all day plus combination platters, tacos, and your regular burritos. From the view on Abram, it doesn't look like parking, but if you pull in, there is parking in the back adjacent to the auto shop. I came in before lunch and was greeted by the lovely staff and was presented a menu to order from at the counter. The menu is posted up on flat-screen tvs, and they also have paper menus as well. I went ahead and ordered the California burrito that came with Carne asada, fries, cheese, and Pico. The place isn't that big but offers roughly a good amount of seating for your friends and family to join you. There is a salsa station inside that had a nice variety of salsa with pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeños. They also have tapatio and Valentina as well. Within minutes, my food was ready and was presented to me for my dine in order. The burrito was packaged and rolled nicely in a piece of paper. When I took off the wrapper, the heat from burrito startled me, and I got excited! The tortilla was perfectly grilled and soft and had a nice fat to flour ratio. Quick time first bite and wowwww! I was surprised how loaded and packed this thing was! The Carne was seasoned well, and the cheese was melted to perfection. All of the sauces complimented this beauty perfectly, and I kept digging in regardless of how hot and fresh this masterpiece was. It was an awesome meal, too, Jumpstart my day! The food was marvelous and packed with lots of love from the chef. This wasn't a dry burrito but a juicy wet burrito with all the fat drippings waiting for you at the bottom of the tortilla. I'll definitely be back, and I'm excited to try more items such as the enchiladas or tortas! Thank you, Gilbertos, for a stunning meal!
